Why I Do Yoga?
Yoga made me realize what breathing is – before I started my practice, not once did I stop to think about my breath. It’s something that comes so naturally to us – inhale, exhale. But it goes so much deeper – how you breath is linked to your nervous system, which in turn is linked to all your organs, which in turn is linked to how you feel physically, which in turn is how you feel in your mind. Which takes me back to the starting point – your breath. It made me realize that my breath is my first connection to everything around me.
